about

To me there's a very big difference between horror-music and HORROR MUSIC.

Being a hardcore horror fanatic, I've done quite a lot of research, and whether the scene is scaring me shitless, or just tickling my temple has a lot to do with the music.

Now, I could make scratching violins, with drones and atmospheric sound effects all day, but that doesn't really do it for me. I mean, if the scene is mind-blowingly scary, that oughta do it, but, if the music itself is scary, that just brings everything to a different level.

One great example of this, is the American Horror Stories intro. Yes, the imagery is terrifying, and, just listening to the music alone is disturbing. Now THAT'S a good horror piece.

So my take on Halloween this year is a piece of music that hopefully will disturb you, even before you put it to imagery.
